Kylee has over 15 years of counselling experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, presenting with a broad range of psychological issues. This includes work with First Responder personnel and those with mild to more complex support needs in managing intense emotions and behaviours associated with anxiety, depression, isolation, grief, relationship discord, self-esteem, work stress and trauma response issues.
Kylee is warm, direct and collaborative. She builds trust and rapport through attentiveness and genuine interest in understanding clients’ needs and concerns. She provides a psycho-educational framework based on schema therapy and attachment principles and holds the space for shared understanding, open discussion and healing. From this platform, empowerment and action to live your best life is the goal.
In partnership with clients and at their own pace, Kylee promotes skill acquisition and develops treatment plans anchored in client centred realistic and achievable outcomes; in the context of the client’s life, circumstance and readiness for change.
Kylee works Mondays 8-5pm (Essendon) & Wednesdays 8-2pm (Carlton) and Tuesdays 8-2 via telehealth.
