Pippin is a genuine, warm, and non-judgmental psychologist who aims to ensure her clients feel fully heard and understood in the therapeutic space. Pippin places particular importance on helping clients understand how their current problems may have arisen through early life experiences, as well as current factors that may be maintaining their presenting difficulties. She focuses on developing trust and sensitivity within the therapeutic relationship so that the client feels safe to explore and process such experiences, as well as to foster hope that clients can achieve mental wellbeing through the process of therapy.
Pippin has worked across both public (tertiary) mental health and private mental health settings, treating a variety of mental health conditions such as Borderline Personality Disorder, Complex Trauma, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Anxiety and Depression. Her main treatment modality is Schema Therapy (ST), however, she also integrates Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Pippin works Mondays 8-2 and Fridays from 9-5 doing a mixture of telehealth and face to face. Pippin is at the Essendon location.
