Clinical Psychologist Registrar
Swati is a registered psychologist with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Her experience includes working with both adults and children living with a broad range of mental health challenges.
Swati has a particular interest in working with clients affected by trauma, experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, interpersonal, and stress related difficulties. She uses evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy, to provide each client with individualised treatment, tools and strategies that can be applied in practical ways to help clients improve their wellbeing.
A key focus in Swati’s practice is to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each client to understand their unique needs to empower them to reach their own goals in a way that works for them. She is a compassionate listener who fosters a supportive environment to ensure clients feel safe and validated throughout their therapy journey.
Swati works Wednesday’s 2pm – 8pm and Thursday’s 8am – 2pm at the Essendon location.
