Schema Therapy & Complex Trauma: Sydney, March 4th – 5th 2019

This two day workshop focuses on working with patients with Complex Trauma within the Schema Therapy Model – how to work with dissociation, physical symptoms, nightmares and Avoidant coping modes; Problems and Symptoms associated this this clinical population will be conceptualised in Schema Therapy Terms and Schema Therapy Interventions tailored accordingly.
C0 -facilitated with Lynda Parry; Lynda is a Clinical Psychologist who has been in private practice for 33 years. Originally an early childhood educator she has a passion for developmental psychology which led to 4 years post graduate study and accreditation in contemporary psychotherapy. She presented her final paper on Dream Analysis at the International Psychotherapy Conference in 2010. She is trained in psychodrama and worked at The Psychodrama Centre, Sydney for 10 years. The experience of running psychodrama groups and training in CBT has stood her in good stead for embracing Schema Therapy and is the director of the Schema Therapy Centre of NSW.
