with Dr Rita Younan and Ms Ruth Holt

Shame has many “faces” and can be hard to shift and difficult to work with.  Shame can be fuelled by or held in various modes, creating “shame cycles”.  Adequate intervention requires accurate assessment.

This workshop considers the survival strategy associated with shame states, its many manifestations, including somatic presentations, Autonomic arousal Indicators, and shame dynamics in relationships.
